    Before you begin filling out the application below, please read these directions.

    • Compose a brief statement of intent. This should be a few paragraphs answering the following questions in a word or text document. Once you have completed your statement of intent you will be able to upload the document below.
      a). How did you hear about GeoJourney?
      b). Why are you interested in GeoJourney?
      c). What can you contribute to the program?
      d). What do you expect to gain from your experiences on GeoJourney?
    • Collect current contact information for two(2) academic or professional references whom you have previously contacted, and are willing to fill out a short form on-line regarding your participation in GeoJourney. In general, the best references are those that know you well either in an academic, professional or field setting.  References should be Teachers, Employers, Mentors, or Coaches etc, NOT family or friends.
    • Fill out the form below and submit your application!

    Because the number of program participants is limited to 24 and GeoJourney is emotionally, physically, and academically challenging, the application process is competitive. All students’ application materials will be reviewed by the GeoJourney faculty. Applications will be reviewed based on the following criteria:

    • Academic qualifications (GPA, SAT’s, ACT’s).
    • Letters of reference.
    • Statement of intent.
